On a sunny Saturday, February 24, 2001 my day turned cloudy.
We were on our daily romp in the woods, enjoying the fresh
air and sunshine, when Cayenne, my loyal companion, a 6-½
year old Doberman, passed away suddenly. It happened so fast;
there was nothing I could do. What a tragic day that was for
me and oh, so much do I miss her.
One of the things that helped me immensely during this sad
time has been my friends here at Nassau Vet. I really felt
they understood and cared. We, at NVC are here to support
you and "understand" when maybe no one else does.
You don't have to grieve alone.
This will be a "Special Place" where you can express
your feelings and display a picture of your beloved pet. To
live in the heart and memory of a loved one is to live forever.
