Course Description: A class is now available to prepare both mixed and purebread dogs to earn AKC’s Canine Good Citizen title. The “CGC” certificate is a true achievement for owners and their dog. It demonstrates a dogs ability to be a respected member of the community. They have been trained to be mannerly in the home, in public, and in the presence of other dogs. Dogs who complete the class are eligible to go on to therapy dog certification. Dogs qualify for this course by completing FINISHING SCHOOL FOR ADOLESCENTS. Becky Hutchins CPDT instructs this rewarding class.
