I was born and raised in Berkshire County, MA. I have always had an interest in science and animals since elementary school. Veterinary medicine is the perfect combination of those interests.
I attended undergrad school at Delaware Valley College in PA, and graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 2013. I joined Nassau Veterinary Clinic in August 2021.
I have always been surrounded by animals from pocket pets to fish, cats, dogs while growing up. My first two dogs as an adult were senior rescues and with that came unique health and medical considerations. They taught me so many lessons and changed my outlook on rescue, senior pets, and palliative care. That may be why I enjoy caring for pets until their golden years. I love how amazing the human-animal bond is and how it can improve our physical and mental health.
Professional interests: preventive medicine, senior pet care – including palliative and hospice care, surgery. I’m interested in pursuing AHPC (Animal Hospice and Palliative Care) certification in the future.
Personal interests outside of work: Spending time with my husband and two mischievous rescue toy poodles, Percy and Tristan. I also enjoy gardening, houseplants that take over our house, and my freshwater nano aquariums.
